Albanian organisations in Switzerland plan a major fundraising campaign for reconstruction after the earthquake<\/h4>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n

The great earthquake that hit central Albania last November happend already a while ago. But many people are still living in temporary shelters or even tents. There is still a need to rebuild the destroyed infrastructure and houses in the affected areas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

On January 31, several representatives of Albanian organizations from all over Switzerland gathered in Bern at the invitation of the Albanian and Kosovar embassies.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The aim is to join forces once again in Switzerland: money is still needed for the reconstruction. Many people have lost everything, could only save their lives. The network of all organisations is now needed to bring together as much support as possible.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

At the meeting, the organisations entrusted the Swiss-Albanian Society with the collection of donations. As a friendship society, which has been working for bi-national relations for over twelve years, it guarantees the desired reliability, the necessary professionalism and neutrality.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
